The fact sheet is a one-page reference that includes all fees that a private school may charge during an academic year, official news agency WAM reported. It was rolled out to 81,000 students across 35 schools in Dubai. However, it is now available for all private schools across the emirate, listing all approved fees and costs, such as transportation, extra-curricular activities, school trips and books, among others. Schools starting their academic year in September 2022 will get access to the service from this week, with parents receiving an SMS with the link to their school’s fact sheet. It will also be included in the annual Parent-School Contract, with over 180 schools included in the new roll-out of the fact sheet. The fact sheet not only gives parents accurate and up-to-date information on all the fees they could be expected to pay, it also enables parents and schools to better focus on children’s learning.
