Including its domestic carriers, Emirates ranks as India’s third-largest carrier, according to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) data in the South Asian country. “India is going to be the next economic powerhouse of the world. So, we don’t see flight demand slowing down anytime soon. At least for the next five to 10 years, demand is going to do well,” Mohammed Sarhan, vice president of Emirates for India and Nepal, told local media, official news agency WAM reported.
